Felt I had to review this product after the nightmares I’ve had with it.

First of all the product was recommended by IBM to work with our AS400. The printer looks good and has a fancy display but has one problem, its rubbish. Paper jams after paper jams and I’m not talking about one printer, we had 12 doing it!! It also put random jobs on 'held' making it hit and miss what it actually printed. On top of this there is a bizarre ritual you have to go through every 30,000 copies when it tells you to change the photoconductor unit. The photoconductor unit is separate from the toner and the printer forces you to swap it every 30,000 copies. Problem is it’s not just a swap. You have to press serveral buttons while powering off and on and then delve through the menus to reset the PC counter otherwise it will not work. Try talking through that with an irate person over the phone!!

All in all a dodgy printer that ive had to ditch. The HP P3005n is 1000% better!!
